BUFFALO, N.Y. RidgeLogic Development, a developer of multimedia presentation solutions, announced the beta release of SceneStudio Online, a new product allowing multimedia presentations to be played back virtually anywhere.

SceneStudio Online is a template-based Web application providing home and business users the ability to tell their story in a multimedia format by combining images, video clips and text captions on a themed background. Home users can create presentations for playback at formal events, like a graduation, wedding reception or memorial service while business templates are used for general business messaging, houses of worship, real estate listings, bank branch communications and video-based presentations.

"There are many presentation products out there, some are specific to social networking use, others are offline tools like Microsoft PowerPoint, and some are digital signage used by businesses," said Jack Boyczuk, president of RidgeLogic. "SceneStudio Online is the first one to work across all of these presentation platforms, breaking down the barriers by allowing presentations to be viewed on a webpage, offline on any Microsoft Windows XP or Vista PC and in a digital signage setting. This valuable capability allows businesses to control their brand image across various mediums with no duplication of effort."

SceneStudio Online is available for free use and through a subscription plan offering increased features and capabilities. For digital signage users RidgeLogic offers the SceneStudio Freedom 720 media player, which allows multiple presentations to be stitched into a playlist for continuous, offline playback. The media player, priced at a retail price of only $799 (USD), is available from resellers in North America and from RidgeLogic's authorized distributors; Stampede Presentation Products and Ingram Micro.
