RidgeLogic Development, the creator of the SceneStudio suite of multimedia presentation solutions, today announced the launch of a host of digital signage services aimed at getting end-users up and running quickly, with high quality custom content and the knowledge required to maintain their message on a daily basis.
The number of resellers offering digital signage continues to increase, but many don't offer graphic design services, meaning an important component of the sale is left unaccounted for, says Ridgelogic. This creates difficulties for resellers trying to sell digital signage to end-users that don't have the time or resources required to develop their own multimedia messages. RidgeLogic fills this gap by offering resellers pre-packaged services that can be added as a line item on a quotation.
For content development a RidgeLogic graphic designer works with end-users to understand their communication goals so a custom background can be created that is themed with their company's branding elements. Both still image and animated backgrounds are offered. There are also two message loop packages available that provide different levels of animated content.
"Initially we were hesitant to enter the services side of the digital signage market, but our resellers needed a trusted provider that allowed them to offer a complete turnkey solution," RidgeLogic president Jack Boyczuk said. "Now we view these services as valuable tools that help resellers overcome barriers to entry in the market and improve their odds of integrating digital signage into their business as a standard product offering."
To help users understand SceneStudio, a one-hour web-based training is being offered by RidgeLogic, which hosts the private session with end-users and walks them through the application feature by feature. For support after the training, end-users receive free e-mail support, and they can purchase a one-year telephone support contract for a $299 retail price.
