IT company Ricoh has announced the launch of what the company is calling, "Its brightest projectors to date" designed to deliver better presentations to audiences in conferences, auditoriums, churches and classrooms, according to a press release.
The projectors, the RICHO PJ WU618N and the RICOH PJ WX618N, are designed to display bright, sharp images on screens as large as 500-inches diagonal. The WU618N provides a widescreen 1900 by 1200 dpi resolution with a brightness of 6,200 lumens, and the WX618N has a resolution of 1280 by 800 dpi and a brightness of 6,700 lumens.
The projects also have the following features:
"The RICOH PJ WU6181N and RICOH PJ WX6181N give organizations new ways to make the information they share more powerful, accessible and shareable," said John Brophy, vice president of product marketing, Ricoh Americas Corporation. "Presenters can serve up HD images, video, PowerPoints, designs and more for presentations without constraints in room size, projection distance, source device or location."
The suggested retail price for the WU618N is $5,100 and the WX618N is $3,499.
