Reflect intros touchless digital signage solution

Reflect Systems, a digital signage provider, has released Zero Touch, a touchless solution that allows users to control interactive digital signage from their phones. Users can scan aQR code to select menu items, scroll through content, control with mouse-precision or shop, according to a press release.
With Zero Touch's secure model, users don't have to join the same network as the media player, since the platform creates a secure connection between the mobile device and ReflectView, a Internet-based cloud platform for digital signage. This ensures the data is protected and never retained by Reflect, according to the release.
"Deploying interactive experiences has historically been both costly and risky for companies looking to engage with users," David Kopaniky, head of Reflect Innovation Labs and senior director of advanced technologies, said in the release. "Between the hardware required for implementation and people being much more touch-averse now, the need for a new solution has only grown. Zero Touch addresses that need by leveraging the one screen people are constantly touching and engaging with comfortably — their phone."
