Raritan intros KVM over IP/LCD drawers

Raritan, a brand of Legrand and a provider of rack power distributor solutions, has introduced its KVM-over-IP/LCD drawers and KVM-over-IP only units for its existing Dominion LX II portfolio. These models can deliver virtual media, mouse synchronization, directory server authentication and PC share, according to a press release.

The models can connect to servers, PCs and laptops with VGA, DVI, HDMI, USB-C, DisplayPort, USB and PS/2 interfaces. It can also deliver video at 1080p and 1200p at 15 frames per second. Other features include:

  • HTML5-based HTML KVN client.
  • Strong security password settings and Advanced Encryption Standard.
  • Universal Virtual Media to transfer files or boot OS or load software.

"The second-generation Dominion LX II KVM-over-IP switches and combo KVM drawers are ideal for small and medium-sized businesses that need at-the-rack and remote IP access for equipment in labs and server rooms," Richard Dominach, director of product management, Raritan, said in the release. "These new models will better support the at-home workforce as well as ease the IT burden of transitioning them back to the office."
