PureLink announces fiber extension system for HDMI 2.0

PureLink has launched its HOF 2.0 4K HDMI Over 1LC Fiber Extension System as part of its line of HDTools extension solutions. This platform offers extension of 4K, embedded audio, RS-232 and bi-directional IR up to 1,000 meters over single mode fiber, according to an email.

The device comes with modular transmitter and receiver pairs to simplify integration. Customers can also combine the device with PureLink's TotalWire LC-terminated fiber optic cables. Other features include:

• 4K at 60 Hertz
• Auto signal correction and enhancement
• Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD Master Audio, LPCM 2/5.1/7.1
• Immune to electromagnetic interference
