Prowise launches interactive whiteboard for education

Prowise has launched the Touchscreen Ten G2, a secure, interactive Android 11 whiteboard designed for classroom use and security-certified by the German government, according to a press release.

The whiteboard includes touch-sensitive glass and ships with four digital pens, which come with pick-up recognition. Users can bind the act of picking up a pen with a system action, such as launching an app. The board is Wi-Fi enabled. Display-bonding and nano texture have been engineered to improve palm- and object-recognition in the touchscreen and sensors allow broad spectrum environmental monitoring for temperature, humidity, gas and dust levels. The whiteboard glass is designed to be antibacterial for five years.

The Touchscreen Ten G2 comes with a library of free software applications including Prowise Presenter, a lesson creation suite and Prowise Screen Control, a remote content management solution along with secure cloud services. For these last three systems, Prowise has received the IT-Grundschutz certificate from Germany's Federal Office for Information Security, a governmental body concerned with cybersecurity and data protection. Compatible with remote learning, the whiteboard supports meeting platforms like Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Skype and Zoom.
