PRN Health, a Stratacache company, plans to unveil three digital solutions for pharmacies to improve customer experience. These include the Lift at Pharmacy point-of-sale device, the Fast Find at Pharmacy touchscreen and the Engage at Pharmacy digital signage, according to a press release.
The Lift at Pharmacy solution can display promotions or other offers and services at a customer facing touchscreen when a pharmacist employee scans a customer's item. Customers can then accept the offer on the touchscreen for a simpler upsell.
The Engage at Pharmacy solution provides custom messaging on pharmacy services, in-store events and wellness content on displays while customers are waiting in line.
With the Fast Find at Pharmacy device, customers can select their symptoms and medication preferences on a touchscreen to help them find the right medication. Customers can also choose to get a product photo and savings offers via text messages.
"We're seeing that personalization is now a top priority for big box retailers and pharmacies, clearly moving away from being simply a marketing buzzword," Kevin Carbone, CEO of PRN and PRN Health, said in the release. "While the mechanics of personalization in e-commerce are clear to retailers, it's been less obvious how to implement this aspect of retail transformation in the physical retail space. LIFT at Pharmacy is addressing this directly as an activation platform at Pharmacy POS that is nothing short of a game changer."
