PPDS, the exclusive global provider of Philips Professional Display Solutions, has announced a milestone in its European sales, with its range of hotel TVs becoming the number one best-selling hospitality TVs in Europe.

This includes the Philips MediaSuite TV product line, according to a press release, which features Google Cast and Netflix ready support.

PPDS also announced that the MediaSuite product range is the preferred TV entertainment solution of choice for new and existing hotels in Europe, while Western European sales reached an all-time high during Q1 and Q2.

"We are thrilled by the continued success of Philips MediaSuite and crucially the positive impact the solution is having on our customers and their guests," Jeroen Verhaeghe, global business development director for hospitality at PPDS and the creator of Philips MediaSuite, said in the release. "In our opinion, the hotel TV simply wasn't keeping pace with home entertainment.

"That's why we created Philips MediaSuite, introducing all the solutions guests love and are accustomed to. Google Cast, Netflix, voice control, plus access to thousands of apps via Google Play, while adding extensive remote management, personalisation, and interactivity, as well as insight features for the hotelier.
