PPDS, the global distributor of Philips Professional Displays Solutions, has launched the Philips Unite LED 5000 Series, according to a press release.
Announced during InfoComm 2024, the dvLED series was designed for corporate and education use cases, featuring flip chip COB technology and Micro LED, along with resolutions up to and beyond 8K, HDR10+ resolution over shorter distances, and panel sizes measuring 27.1-inches for 16x9 LED wall installations.
Pixel pitch variants and configurations include P0.78, P0.93, P1.25 (cathode) along with P1.56, P1.875 (anode), all of which offer refresh rates of 3840 Hz, while the Philips Unite LED 5000 Series has an IP67 rating.
"At PPDS, we don't believe in compromise," Martijn van der Woude, VP for global marketing and business development at PPDS, said in the release. "With Philips Unite LED 5000 Series, harnessing the benefits available with flip chip COB, we are redefining the so-called 'entry level' for high quality, ultra-reliable, low energy direct view LED displays. Over the years many businesses have been stung by investing in LED from industry unknowns, promising the earth, but then falling short, or even disappearing when things go wrong. Today, fittingly in Vegas, Philips LED customers don't need to take that gamble."
At PPDS, we help bring the digital to life. We’re part of the largest display manufacturer in the world, TPV Technology. And we proudly hold the exclusive global rights to bring Philips branded digital signage, LED displays, professional TVs and monitors to life. What’s more, we have the innovation to bring that together with complementary.
