August 22, 2005
MEDINA,Minn.: Polaris Industries recently installed more than 400 touchscreen kiosks at dealers across North America, according to a news release. The kiosks, which are manufactured by SeePoint Technology, are mounted to store displays that also feature simulated terrain, full-size ATVs and 26-inch LCD screens.
Customers sit on the ATV and are treated to an action-packed multimedia experience, displayed from the kiosk, simulating the thrill of a ride on a Polaris recreational vehicle while illustrating its many capabilities.
In addition to simulating the ATV riding experience, the touchscreen kiosks are informative sales tools, providing customers with detailed product information in a format that is easy to access and highlights the unique benefits of Polaris vehicles and accessories.
A second touchscreen kiosk stands in front of each display providing wider access to the Polaris product information. The kiosks simultaneously drive the interactive systems and related content to the large display to capture the attention of other customers in the store.
