Planar wins digital display contract with Thomson's PRN

RTTNews: Planar Systems Inc. said it has been awarded a digital display contract by retail television network provider Thomson's Premier Retail Networks Inc., for the supply of customized small-format touch-screen displays and customized large-format displays. Planar shares jumped more than 18 percent following the news. Planar said its display solutions would now be used in a large percentage of the in-store networks operated by PRN, serving multiple display categories as part of its retail media network systems solution.
