Planar hires business development manager

Planar Systems Inc., a display manufacturer, has hired Lainie Mataras to serve as business development manager for the company's northeast team, according to an email announcement.

Mataras will help grow, improve and create relationships with consultant partners and develop Planar's consultant team.

Prior to joining Planar, Mataras served as regional sales manager for the consultant market at Sapphire Marketing
