Planar is launching its next-gen update for its CarbonLight CLI Series of indoor LED video wall displays, according to a press release.
The line features updated cabinet design and support for applications including rental and staging, in-camera virtual production and extended reality, and on-camera broadcast, among others.
Additional features include brightness up to 1,500 nits, a 500x1000 cabinet size option, up to 19 percent weight savings, and a range of pixel pitches including 1.9, 2.6, 2.9 and 3.5 millimeters.
"The new Planar CarbonLight CLI Series builds on the success of the previous generation, now offering customers elevated visual performance and a new carbon fiber design optimized to reduce weight, increase durability and ease of installation," Robert Detwiler, senior director of product management and training at Planar, said in the release.
