Planar announces new scratch-resistant touchscreen

BEAVERTON, Ore. — Planar Systems Inc. introduced its LB1500RTC, a scratch-resistant open frame display with capacitive touchscreen technology. The touchscreen LCD improves the end-user experience in high-traffic, high-visibility areas, regardless of environmental conditions.

The LB1500RTC features a brightness level almost twice that of standard displays. The 15-inch durable 3M ClearTek II display with USB interface provides improved touch accuracy, superior optical performance and improved surface wear against scratching.
