Planar adds MGP series to fine pitch LED offerings

Planar has released its MGP series of fine pitch LED displays. Available in 1.2-, 1.5- and 1.8-millimeter pixel pitches, it can deliver fine pitch LED to retail, classrooms, houses of worship and more, according to a press release.
The series features a 27-inch diagonal, 16:9 cabinet design for full front-service and wall-mounted installation. In addition to the series, Planar is also introducing MGP Complete, a line of pre-packed LED video wall displays in 108-, 136- and 163-inch diagonal, which offer full HD video.
"Today's customers recognize the value of large-size, seamless LED video walls that can support next-level viewing experiences, but they're also looking for ways to reduce the complexities that often come with deploying a video wall," Steve Seminario, vice president of product development at Planar, said in the release. "The products introduced today allow us to offer more flexibility, simplify the buying process and make fine pitch LED the clear choice for an even broader set of customers and applications."
