Pixel Inspiration launches ‘Way 2 Go' touchscreen wayfinding system
August 24, 2009
Pixel Inspiration has announced the launch of Way 2 Go, an interactive touchscreen wayfinding application that provides navigation through buildings such as hospitals, airports, shopping centers or libraries.
Way 2 Go can be used on an interactive digital sign or kiosk, and allows the user to tag points of interest on a 3D map of the building. User get clear on-screen directions that may also be printed out or sent by SMS to the users' phone.
Also notable, Pixel has designed Way 2 Go to be a self-updating application which can rebuild itself when any changes to the layout or flow in the building are made. In the past, when aspects of the target environment change, such as the addition of new wings, changes to visitor flows or temporary closures, digital wayfinding solutions have needed to be rebuilt or redrawn.
