Phabrix, a broadcast test and measurement firm, has announced the launch of its hybrid QxP waveform monitor, according to a press release.

Leveraging architecture from the QxP rasterizer solution, the monitor includes 3U LCD touchscreen, integral V- or G-mount battery plates, and support for HD, UHD, SDR, HDR, SDI and IP workflows.

Supporting deep color sourcing up to 12 bits and multiple display and overlay modes, the system permits Rec 709 and Rec 2020 colorimetry over YCbCr:422, RGB:444, SDI, 2110 and SD/HD/2K/UHD/4K/EUHD formats.

"QxP is the world's first portable 12G-SDI 25G ST 2110 combined waveform monitor, generator and analyzer," Phillip Adams, CEO at Phabrix, said in the release. "With all the functionality of our QxL rasterizer, but in a lightweight 3RU chassis and with multiple interface control options, we really are offering our customers a next generation alternative to the traditional waveform monitor technology."
