PGA event adds kiosk network

Triangle Business Journal: The upcoming PGA Tour Wachovia Championship at Quail Hollow Club, Charlotte, N.C. will feature 30 interactive kiosks that let visitors locate players, find course maps and get constant scoring updates through an up-to-the-minute, touchscreen system.

"If you need to find out (what hole) Tiger Woods is on, you push a button and there it is," said Kym Hougham, tournament director for Wachovia. "We think it will make things much easier for fans who aren't sure how to navigate the course or find the players they want to see."
