Veon announces DO1440 Officer role and first appointment

In its ongoing quest to expand digital coverage and services in under-served geographic locations, Veon has announced the launch of its DO1440 officer role and the appointment of Lasha Tabidze as its first holder, according to a press release.

Tabidze's previous experience includes serving as CEO of Beeline Georgia, which Veon sold off in 2022, and he will report to Veon CEO Kaan Terzioglu.

"Our ambition with the digital operator model is to be relevant to and engaged with our customers for the entire 1,440 minutes of a day," Terzioglu said in the release. "Establishing this new role will strengthen the Group's support to each of our operating companies in accelerating their digital operator roll-out, transforming our value proposition from traditional telcos to providers of digital experiences. We are pleased to welcome Lasha back to the VEON Group in this high-level role that is central to our strategy."

"I am thrilled to rejoin VEON in the Group DO1440 officer capacity," Tabidze said in the release. "In the new role, I will be driving best practices across the operating companies. This will assist in the development of applications and technology solutions that will deliver greater engagement and value generation for our customers world-wide."

Maxhub names NE enterprise sales manager

Maxhub has named Jason E. Tessier as its sales manager for the northeast, according to a press release.

Based in New Hampshire, Tessier will oversee LED display and conference solutions sales, bringing 25 years of industry experience from previous roles at firms including FoxFury Lighting Solutions, SiOnyx LLC, KEF America and Universal Remote Control.

"I am delighted to be joining MAXHUB," Tessier said in the release. "In a relatively short period of time, I have watched the company transition from that of a relative newcomer in this market to one of the leading brands. This is a direct result of well-designed products that address critical issues for our segment of the market in addition to a well-managed team of sales, marketing and technical people. Infiled announces North America technical services director

Infiled has announced Adam Coleman as its director of technical services for North America, according to a press release.

Coleman brings 25 years of industry experience to the role.

"I am very excited for the opportunities this new role will bring to both Infiled and to myself," Coleman said in the release. "Over my career I've worked with many departments, groups and needs, and I am eager to bring that together with the wonderful team at Infiled and grow the business. I have a passion for organization, mentoring and process design/implementation. In this new role I will lead the team which supports our customer's technical needs and collaborate and work towards shared goals. I believe the customer's experience when dealing with a manufacturer is critical to ongoing success and I am ready for the challenges to come!"
