Planar's Metro New York team welcomes Jenna Silberfeld

Planar, a visualization products firm, has announced the addition of Jenna Silberfeld to its Metro New York sales team, according to an email from Planar.

Silberfeld brings more than a decade of AV experience, including roles at Crestron Elecronics and, most recently, as a channel account manager for commercial displays and signage at Samsung.

Digital Signage today reached out via email for a comment from Jenna Silberfeld.

"The New York market continues to grow substantially and direct view LED video walls are becoming more desirable as technology continues to advance," Silberfeld said via email. "The importance of creating immersive and unique experiences is becoming more critical in capturing customers' attention and keeping them engaged. MAXHUB announces Annie Sunseri, enterprise sales manager

MAXHUB, an AV collaboration and communications solutions company, has announced that Annie Sunseri has accepted dual appointments as enterprise sales manager for the northwest and business development manager for distribution, according to a press release.

Sunseri brings industry experience including, most recently, a leadership role at Avocor, an Oregon-based online business collaboration solutions provider. Previously, Sunseri ran Sunseri Marketing, a consultancy and contracting firm for marketing and non-profit event management, and served as a regional sales manager for Tampa, Florida-based Hitachi Home Electronics America.

"Annie brings a wealth of skills and experience to her new position with MAXHUB and I am confident she will bring a lot of fresh ideas and skills to our organization," Sam Malik, VP of U.S. sales and marketing at MAXHUB, said in the release. "All of us on the MAXHUB team are glad to have her joining our efforts and we look forward to working with her."

Dentsu Creative ANZ announces Liam Bagnall as creative director

Dentsu Creative ANZ, a subsidiary of the Dentsu International media agency that is based in the Australia/New Zealand market, has announced Liam Bagnall as its creative director, according to a report from AdNews.

Bagnall brings more than two decades of entertainment experience, including work with Jon Bon Jovi and four years of work at UNILAD Group, including work as executive producer along with writing/directing long-form content for television and social media.

"I am so excited to be here at Dentsu Creative and help invent the future with this wonderful, smart group of people who are fundamentally focused on delivering results for clients in a smart, future-focused way," Bagnall commented in the release.

"Liam's previous experience and his passion for creating work that doesn't just tap into the cultural zeitgeist, but actively shapes it and drives a conversation forward, (and) makes him the right person to help drive what modern creativity looks like in this region," Kirsty Muddle, CEO at Dentsu Creative, said in the release.

"We want Dentsu Creative to be the first choice for clients looking to operate in the entertainment space," Fred Levron, global chief creative officer for Dentsu, said in the release. "With this new offering, we will help brands act as entertainment companies that also happen to sell snacks, drinks or fashion."

EssenceMediacom announces CEO Pippa Berlocher

Pippa Berlocher has been announced as the next CEO of EssenceMediacom, an Australia/New Zealand-based media agency, according to a report from AdNews.

Berlocher will enter the role after serving as president for the Asia/Pacific region at Reprise, the performance marketing agency of IPG Mediabrands, and will take over from current CEO Pat Crowley in April of this year. Crowley is moving into a managing partner role after having presided over the merger of Essence and Mediacom into a singular agency with 550 employees and serving global clients including Adidas, Bayer, Dell, Google, KFC, PlayStation and others.

"Having the chance to lead a newly created agency, with the depth of talent and capability in EssenceMediacom and the scale of the global network is a once in a lifetime opportunity that I am incredibly excited about," Berlocher said in the report. "I love the agency's positioning to deliver breakthrough thinking for brands and really push the boundaries of where we can have an impact for our clients, empower our people and drive culture. I know we are going to create something truly special for the ANZ market and I can't wait to get started."
