Peerless ships slim tilt mounts for ultra-thin screens

Peerless Industries has released a new line of ultra-slim tilt mounts designed for commercial and consumer-grade slim flatscreen monitors. The advent of LED-backlighting has brought about ultra-slim screens, some with a width of just 1.2 inches, which require slimmer mounts than those conventionally available.

Peerless' mounts combine a .68-inch fit for a clean look, a tilt range of up to 17.5 degrees screen positioning, and a hinge technology that speeds installation by providing 5.5 inches of unobstructed workspace behind the screen. Three models for 22- to 60-inch ultra-thin screens are available.

Other installation features include a lockdown tab that prevents the screen from shifting, an open wall plate design that increases access for electrical- and cable-management options and horizontal adjustment up to eight inches for improved screen positioning.
