Peerless introduces advanced video wall mount

Peerless Industries Inc. has announced the new DS-VW760 Full-Service Video Wall Mount aimed at expediting the installation of video walls. The new mount feature customized wall plate spacers, eight-point tool-less adjustment and prop-open service access with top or bottom release.

The modular-style mount saves time by enabling multiple 40-inch to 65-inch flat panel displays to be precisely aligned without measuring and quickly serviced without dismantling the entire wall.

Designed to support any display configuration from 2x2 to 3x2, 4x4 and beyond, the DS-VW760 ensures precision placement of multiple displays by providing wall plate spacers that have been customized to the dimensions of specific digital display models.

The mount also delivers a snug fit on the attachment point to the display's mounting hole pattern, ensuring that each display as it is hung in succession is aligned at the same point. Integrated cable management with cable tie-backs further simplifies installation.

Peerless says the DS-VW760 also offers micro-adjustability with little work — display positioning can be fine-tuned at eight different points, including up-down vertical, left-right horizontal and in-out tilt of the whole display as well as up-down roll at the display corners. Quick-turn adjustment knobs save time and facilitate proper placement by eliminating the need for mechanical tool-based adjustment. The wall plate itself can also be adjusted left, right, up and down to accommodate different stud and wall plate mounting location options.

A pull-out/prop-open mechanism on each mount allows any display in the video wall matrix to be accessed individually from either the top or bottom for display, cabling or component service. When pulled from the top or pushed from the bottom, a quick-release lever will provide easy access to the back of the selected display. The unit will stay in the open position with an additional tilt option to provide ample room for technicians' hands. When finished, simply push the display back into place and an audible click will indicate when the mount has secured into the proper position.

The Peerless DS0VW760 Full-Service Video Wall Mount will be available in May through Peerless' network of distributors and dealers.
