Audio and video solutions and accessories provider Peerless‐AV showcased a wide variety of its products at this year's InfoComm in Orlando, Florida.

The company's Daytona 500‐themed booth featured the PeerAir Pro Wireless AV multidisplay system, Xtreme fully sealed weatherproof displays, SmartMount video carts, a new line of sleek multimedia kiosk enclosures, new mounts and more, the company said.

Visitors also had the opportunity to enter Peerless‐AV's Daytona 500 Giveaway for a chance to win two tickets to the VIP section at the 2016 Daytona 500, a two-night hotel stay, airline gift card and spending money.

Peerless‐AV products on display at InfoComm 2015 included:

Mounts

InfoComm 2015 marked the debut of the new Peerless‐AV Designer Series, featuring the Articulating Wall Mount (SUA771PU), "one of the thinnest wall arm mounts on the market, designed exclusively for ultra-thin displays," the company said.

The newly redesigned SmartMount 700 Series line of articulating wall mounts and pivot wall mounts, including the SmartMount Universal Articulating Wall Mount (SA752PU), also were showcased. Extending flat panel displays up to 27.43 inches from the wall, the SA752PU allows for a full 180 degrees of side‐to‐side motion for positioning of displays up to 55 inches.

Peerless‐AV also showcased a variety of mounts, including full-service video wall mounts with quick release, ceiling mounts with media player storage, digital menu board mounts, projector mounts and more. For ergonomic office design, Peerless‐AV will showcased monitor wall arms with extension and laptop trays for monitor mounts.

Carts

Peerless‐AV said its line of SmartMount video carts are designed to be cost‐effective, safe, and aesthetically pleasing. In lieu of purchasing multiple displays for multiple rooms, users can order one display and create a mobile solution, saving time and money and making telecommunication easier, the company said. The all‐new SmartMount carts are UL tested and certified, ensuring safe mobility without the fear of tipping or structural failure. Peerless‐AV's InfoComm display incorporated SmartMount portable video cart solutions for single and multiple 32- to 98-inch displays.

Kiosks

At InfoComm, Peerless‐AV launched a new line of indoor floor‐standing kiosk enclosures that are designed to be suitable for any indoor application, housing 40‐ to 80-inch displays in portrait orientation. The line, crafted to be easy‐to‐install, sleek and affordable, offers customization (visually and through the KioskBuilder), multiple configurations, proximity sensors, speakers, ambient lighting, anti‐glare treatments and more, while maintaining a small footprint, the company said.

To offer variety in digital signage solutions, Peerless‐AV also showcased its full line of kiosks including on‐wall, in‐wall, portrait, landscape, indoor and outdoor solutions. Additionally, custom kiosks offering various features such as printers, cameras and scanners were shown.

Audio/Video Solutions

Wireless innovations on display included:

  • PeerAir Pro Wireless AV Multi‐Display System (HDS300): When running wires isn't possible, Peerless-AV offers the PeerAir Pro with an extended wireless distance of 201 feet, that can multicast full-HD 1080p and passive 3D signals wirelessly to up to six displays, and with a pass-through port on the transmitter, a seventh display can be wired locally. Also on display at InfoComm was the PeerAir Wireless HD Multimedia System (HDS‐WHDI100), with a wireless distance of 100 feet.
  • PeerSound Wireless Audio System (ADS100‐B): A rack-mountable wireless audio transmission system with a remote antenna that allows professional installers and integrators to send up to eight channels of audio wirelessly to receivers/speakers up to 140-plus feet away.
  • Pico AV Broadcaster (HDS‐PB100AV): Broadcasts HD content to an unlimited number of DTVs that have an ATSC tuner and over‐the‐air antenna within a 350 feet (106 meter) radius through any open local white space channel.

Outdoor Displays

Designed for various digital signage applications, Peerless‐AV's Xtreme outdoor daylight readable displays are 100 percent sealed and engineered to endure the outside elements in all seasons, the company said. Ventless with full-HD 1080p flatscreens, the Xtreme displays are designed to withstand extreme heat (+140°) and extreme cold (‐40°) without damaging the LCD. Relying on a patented Dynamic Thermal Transfer system to cool or warm internal components during extreme weather, the Xtreme displays remove the need for external filters, vents and exhaust fans. In addition, the patented design completely seals all internal components as well as the cable entry — protecting the display from rain, sleet, snow, dust, insects and even pressure washing, the company said.

The Xtreme displays have achieved IP68 and NEMA 6 ratings and are designed to be maintenance free, cost effective and reliable even in the harshest of conditions, Peerless-AV said.
