Park Place Mall deploys outdoor LCD digital signage video wall

Park Place Mall in Barrie, Canada, recently selected Advanced to deploy an outdoor LCD video wall. The DynaScan LCD video wall is built to withstand sunlight and cold temperatures, according to a press release.

The display is a 2-by-2 matrix of 55-inch video wall panels. The display is designed with 3,000 nit brightness and is 3.5-mm bezel-to bezel, according to David Weatherhead, president of Advanced. The video wall is designed to offer one large HD image.

The display is normally designed for indoor use, so Advanced partnered with Bakto to develop a custom weather proof enclosure with temperature regulating. Advanced also installed a video wall processor with 4K inputs and a fiber optic cable solution for content management.
