Parabit Systems, the Long Island, New York-based designer and manufacturer of embedded security and self-service technologies, will be attending the National Retail Federation's BIG Show next week showcase its proprietary digital signage software, the company announced.
This marks the first year Parabit plans on exhibiting at the retail expo in New York City, and it will be showing off its proprietary digital signage software, eBrochure, which was designed to be a simple and cost effective way to "go green" and turn any kiosk into an interactive experience, the company said.
With eBrochure, retailers can display advertising and link digital brochures to additional information, according to the announcement. Every electronic brochure is an opportunity for advertisers to sponsor content. Users can opt-in at the kiosk for additional information about a product, providing retailers with a report of users who provided email addresses and mobile phone numbers. It's also a way to save on printed materials, as eBrochure replaces paper brochures. Parabit's reporting system lets kiosk owners know which sponsors are getting the most interest and brochure downloads. Several eBrochure kiosks already are in use at LaGuardia, Newark and JFK Airports, the company said.
Also to be showcased is Parabit's comprehensive array of mobile device-charging stations, including charging stations, charging poles, charging tables, charging counters and power doors. Parabit's charging kiosks are designed to be a safe, convenient place to charge while people shop, and can be found in malls, retail stores and airports around North America. Clients include the Port Authority of New York/New Jersey, Westfield Malls, Tanger Outlets, Caesar's, Atlantic City Airport, Sarasota Bradenton Airport, NYSSBA, NAFCU, several military bases and more, the company said.
