Papercast has launched a quad core electronic paper display driver board. It is designed to power up to four 13.3-inch or one 32-inch color or monochrome displays, according to a press release.
The board is designed with partial screen refresh, smart power management and local content rendering. It also has built-in memory to show static content in the event of an outage. Users can power the device through solar power with a small power pack.
Papercast displays are also designed with 180-degree viewing angles, 22K pixels per inch and 16 grey-scale HD resolution.
"We have worked closely with our customers and invested in making Papercast the most attractive and most advanced offering of its kind, with a distinctive combination of features that addresses the challenges faced by bus transport operators and authorities, as well as meeting passenger needs," Bogdan Pavlic, co-founder at Papercast, said in the release.
