Panasonic intros 4K camera

Panasonic has introduced its AW-UE100 integrated pan/tilt/zoom camera, which uses a 1/2.5-type 4K MOS sensor to deliver 4K video. It supports a variety of IP transmission protocols such as high-bandwidth NDI, high-efficiency NDI|HX and Secure Reliable Transport, according to a press release.

It has a panning range of + or -175 degrees and a titling range of -30 to 210 degrees. Other features include:

  • Power over Ethernet power supply support.
  • Can transmit 4K video at 250 Mpbs.
  • Can connect with AR/VR systems.

The camera will be available in black and white versions in the third quarter of 2020, according to the release.
