Oreo cookies and Global, a media and entertainment group, is using an OOH campaign to promote a live music event in London: The Capital Weekender Live with Oreo on Aug. 27, according to a company press release.
In celebration of live events returning this summer, Capital Dance presenter MistaJam will be hosting the rooftop party at London's Century Club.
Oreo's #BackToLive media campaign launched Aug. 9 across Global's OOH ad formats, on-air, online and on Digital Ad Exchange, a digital audio advertising platform in programmatic outdoor advertising created by Global.
Through Aug. 22, music fans can enter the contest to win event tickets by scanning a QR code on a Capital Weekender Live with an Oreo ad featured on Global billboards throughout the U.K.
"It's a pleasure to partner with such a brilliant brand in Oreo to bring a special event like the Capital Weekender to life," Mike Gordon, CCO at Global, said in the release. "Not only will our interactive media campaign supercharge awareness of the event to prospective competition winners, but many more music fans across the country will be able to enjoy this fantastic lineup of artists live on Global Player."
The QR code will be posted to Instagram and through a URL on Capital's website and social feeds. The show will also be streamed live on Global Player, according to the release.
