VSBLTY Groupe Technologies Corp., a software provider for retail analytics and customer engagement technology, has partnered with Onyx Glass, a glass manufacturer for digital signage, to deliver transparent glass panels for cooler doors. These panels offer full-color video alongside analytics and computer vision, according to a press release.
Customers can install these panels on coolers, freezers, vending machines, display units and store fronts. It offers see-through, full video or see-through and video simultaneously, which is activated by viewer engagement and demographics, according to the release.
VSBLTY also integrated its FacialAnalytics and anonymized data to offer information on impressions, unique visitors, interactions, dwell time, mood, age and gender.
"The content on these screens also informs shoppers and motivates immediate buying decisions," Jay Hutton, co-founder and CEO, VSBLTY, said in the release. "The cooler or freezer door is among the most valuable space in retail in terms of media value. It is a large canvas and functions as a 'destination' for shoppers. This innovation will open the floodgates for targeted activations in store and help to catapult the store to being part of a dominant media channel."
