In celebration of Pi Day, which took place March 14, OnLogic unveiled its Raspberry Pi-powered industrial computer. This small device can deliver ARM computing power to a variety of internet-of-things applications, according to a press release.

Its features include:

  • Raspberry Pi CM4 SOM processor.
  • Up to 8G onboard LPDDR4 memory and up to 32GB onboard eMMC storage.
  • One USB 2.0 port and two USB 3.2 ports.
  • One micro-HDMI port
  • One RS-232/422/48 Terminal Block.
  • Two GbE LAN ports.

"This isn't going to be just another off-the-shelf Raspberry Pi enclosed in an inexpensive case," Johnny Chen, solution architect, OnLogic, said in the release. "Our system will offer a unique opportunity to prototype solutions on Raspberry Pi architecture and then rapidly deploy to the factory floor or within a stacked solution. The established Raspberry Pi maker community has built an incredible foundation on which new innovations in the Industry 4.0, SCADA, and IoT spaces are now possible."
