Onepath, a managed technology services company, has launched its Audiovisual-as-a-Service solution to help simplify the process of acquiring and using A/V tools for small and medium-sized businesses. With this service, businesses can use current, non-proprietary A/V technology on a three-year refresh cycle, according to a press release.
Since the technology is non-proprietary, companies can more easily switch platforms due to changing needs. Onepath also provides monitoring and management of all A/V tools including remote firmware updates and repairs.
"93% of knowledge workers work outside the office at least one day a week," Michael Lane, VP, engineering at Onepath, said in the release "This means AV tools have to be uncomplicated and operate as expected — downtime results in lost productivity and stretched support resources, which our clients simply can't have. The goal of Onepath AVaaS is to put our clients' minds at ease when it comes to the use of AV tools and technologies, while turning what has traditionally been a CapEx charge into an operating expense, making the service incredibly attractive to SMBs."
