ONELAN digital signage speaks for TalkTalk, also showing TVG at IBC2010

August 31, 2010

ONELAN Limitedrecently announced that its digital signage solution has been chosen by TalkTalk, the broadband and home phone company launched by The Carphone Warehouse, to attract and communicate to new customers.

A ONELAN NTB 5505 is installed displaying content on 40- and 46-inch LCD screens throughout TalkTalk's pilot store and a three-by-three video wall. The digital signage is fully integrated with the store's audio system.

ONELAN's digital signage is used to show a range of content, including TalkTalk's live TV channel, proprietary video advertisements and RSS news feeds. The content is managed and updated onsite.

"The ONELAN product gives us the flexibility to quickly update our customer messaging in a wide range of really engaging formats, which is a must for a leading broadband company," TalkTalk general manager Maggie Roxburgh said in the release.

ONELAN also announced that it will be showing its new TV Gateway (TVG) product at IBC2010 in Amsterdam later this month.

The TVG allows streaming over a network using a multi-unicast technique. The Omni-Server range allows recording of up to 20 TV channels and 20 radio stations, stored in a carousel mode, to be watched at anytime.

IBC2010 is at the RAI Amsterdam, Sept. 10-14.
