OneAV, an A/V distributor, has tapped Ronni Guggenheim as its new CEO. Prior to joining OneAV, Guggenheim served as general manager at Atlona, according to a press release.
As CEO, his first project will be to launch a business model to bring in smaller A/V distributors to do battle with the giants in the industry. The company will provide an affiliate program to allow partners to access its inventory of A/V products and vendors, according to the release.
"Smaller A/V distributors compete against a fragmented distribution landscape dominated by a few gorillas with established brands and extensive resources," Guggenheim said in the release. "This presents a substantial growth challenge to smaller distributors that lack access to a broad portfolio, a viable online presence, and the financial resources to build end-to-end A/V distribution experiences. OneAV brings an innovative vision that eliminates the need to hold inventory, build online stores, or operate an ERP or logistics service. We instead offer a one-stop service and ready-to-go business framework that helps companies build their A/V distribution businesses."
