Laptop Logic: A new generation of displays is emerging in the market, weighing less and using less power than a traditional LCD. OLED's, or Organic Light-Emitting Diode screens use up to 40 percent less power than an LCD and could be up to twice as thin. A large part of this is due to an LCD's extensive backlighting, which is non-existent in the OLED screen.
