National Retail Solutions, a POS terminal-based platform and NRS PAY credit card processing that is also known as NRS, partnered with El Especialito, a bilingual newspaper, to host a Give-Back Day in Newark, New Jersey, according to a press release.
The event was hosted in collaboration with the North Reformed Church and the Bessie Green Community and supported charitable activities such as signing people into the soup kitchen, organizing the pantry, and sorting donations at the clothing barn.
"We are proud to be part of an event that truly embodies the spirit of giving back," said Elie Y. Katz, president and CEO of National Retail Solutions (NRS). "Today's turnout and the positive impact we've had on our neighbors underscore the importance of community involvement and the difference we can make when we come together."
