Noventri releases Version 2.8 digital signage software

Digital signage solution provider Noventri has released Version 2.8 of its Noventri Suite software, which includes new features and security, bug fixes and added usability, the company said in a news release.

New features include the ability to preview interval management for large networks; more robust and secure communications; optimized ODBC connections; PowerPoint import enhancements; updated designer panel functionality; an enhanced permissions panel; and many "under the hood" upgrades, the company said.

Noventri Suite 2.8 can be installed on any Windows-based computer and is the companion software to the Noventri Eco-Series digital signage player. Users can create content in full-HD resolution, add multiple region types and overlap other regions with full transparencies using industry standard image formats such as jpg, png, and bmp.

Noventri Suite also functions as a stand-alone digital signage player, though some features are only available when it is combined with the Noventri Eco-Series player.

Noventri Suite is a no-cost digital signage software that requires no licenses or subscriptions, according to the release.
