Nexcom, Quividi extend partnership for media players
Nexcom, a smart retail solutions company, and Quividi, a provider of digital signage analytics, are extending their partnership to offer custom media players. Quividi has embedded its analytics solution VidiReports into Nexcom's NDiS B325-SI3 media player, according to a press release.
VidiReports offers information on the number of viewers, demographics, facial attributes, attention span and the customer's mood. The B325-SI3 player has an Intel Core i3-6100U processor, which supports Quividi's face detection and analysis solution. It also provides a number I/O interfaces and 4K video.
"Nexcom is glad to be the first provider of Quividi-powered players, where Quividi's software is customized and embedded in a total package solution," said Jenny Shern, assistant vice president, intelligent platform and service, Nexcom, in the release. "As more and more digital signage screens are natively equipped with cameras, this partnership is key to provide an intelligent real- time analytics and Interactivity solution to our retail and DOOH customers."
Customers can also trigger content using Quividi's real time analytics from its Campaign Genius AI algorithm, which helps offer more "impactful audience engagement," according to the release.
