Nexcom intros new digital signage player

Nexcom has introduced its new NDiS 122 digital signage player, which is powered by an Intel Atom Dual Core D510 processor and is housed in a robust, discreet chassis. 

This platform does not require a CPU fan and is designed for entry-level digital signage applications within retail, education, hospitality and health care, according to a company release. NDiS 122 is equipped with an onboard 1.66GHz Intel Atom Dual Core D510 CPU, Intel NM10 Express Chipset and Intel GMA 3150 graphic engine. In addition, a variant with onboard HD decoder known as NDiS 122-A also is available for applications which require the display of full-HD video.
NDiS 122 supports wireless operation (via Mini-PCIe socket) and also is equipped with LAN and RS232 communication ports. With VGA output, NDiS 122 is compatible with most leading types of digital signage software and can support multiple file formats.
