Net Display Systems' PADS now Windows 7 compatible

Press release 22-09-2009 – For immediate publication Net Display Systems' PADS now Windows 7 compatible Net Display Systems (NDS) announces that it has made its latest version of PADS Professional and PADS Standalone 100% compatible with Windows 7. Although Windows 7 is still at a Release Candidate state and will be released officially October 22nd, Net Display Systems has declared after extensive testing PADS 3.1 SR1 Windows 7 compatible. As software developers and advanced users probably know, graphical power increases enormously with the usage of the new WPF platform (Windows Presentation Foundation), implemented in dot NET 3.0. Beside the benefits of WPF, Windows 7 extends these benefits with several other tools, like parallel threading etc. Therefore, dot NET based applications running on Windows 7 will be more powerful than applications running on Windows Vista or XP. To obtain maximum graphical strength and reliability, the NDS software developers adapted the software to be fully compatible with Windows 7. Intensive and extended testing, especially on High- Definition related matters, already proved both the increase of graphical power and the stability of the PADS Professional 3.1 SR1 and Standalone SR1.1 software in a Windows 7 environment.
