NEC launches LED screens with improved pixel pitch

NEC Display Solutions of America has launched a new line of direct view LED displays with 1.2 to 6 millimeters pixel pitch for indoor use and 5.8 to 10mm for outdoor use. The display is designed to provide a clear viewing experience with a 100,000-hour lifespan, according to a press release.

The LED displays are designed with a variety of features including:

• 24-bit color processing;
• Upgradeable front facing panels;
• Ability to arrange panels in a curve concave or convex configuration;
• High refresh rate to prevent flickering;
• Controllers that can handle 16 million pixels; and
• All displays can be serviced in the front or back.

"Businesses today need bigger screen sizes, bright and color-accurate crystal-clear images, zero bezels, and the ability to easily service and upgrade to create unique video walls," Grant Wylie, senior product manager, LED Display Solutions said in the release. "Our new LED portfolio is built to provide ease of use and flexibility so our customers can focus on what matters most – their business."

All LED screens come with a 3- year warranty, according to the release. NEC will display all of its solutions at the upcoming NEC Display Solutions New York Partner Showcase, on Oct. 26 at SIR Stage 37 in New York City.
