NEC Display Solutions of America, a display technology company, has announced a new display kiosk and ultra-high-definition solutions. The solutions are designed to help businesses deliver interactive UHD content, according to a press release.
NEC partnered with True Definition Network to create its UHD content solution, which is designed to work on NEC's large displays that range from 55-inches to 98-inches. Users who purchase this will receive a one year subscription to 4K content, an Intel i5 powered open-pluggable-specification-computer and an UHD display.
The kiosk solution is designed with NEC's 42-inch and 46-inch V Series displays. Each display has a touch overlay and comes with an Intel computer that runs on Windows 8.1.
"We've listened to industry needs and are now addressing them with turnkey solutions that make kiosk and UHD technology easier than ever to integrate," Richard Ventura, vice president of business development and solutions at NEC Display Solutions, said in the release. "In today's competitive economy, content is king. That's why we're excited to provide an innovative, ultra-high definition content solution to accompany our top-of-the line displays."
Both solutions will be available for purchase in September.
