December 2, 2007
CHICAGO — NEC Display Solutions of America has announced its largest LCD to date — the 65-inch NEC MultiSync LCD6520. The screen is embedded with NEC's Digital Signage Technology Suite, which includes more than 20 features and functions developed for digital signage. When used in digital-signage applications, these features are designed to create a lower cost of ownership by eliminating the need for third-party components.
"The MultiSync LCD6520 gives messages and images the wow-factor needed to reach targeted audiences that are becoming immune to static media," said Hans Baumann, senior product manager for NEC Display Solutions. "By bringing commercial-grade quality and a value-rich feature set, the 65-inch MultiSync LCD6520 delivers big results with maximum impact."
This new display features a 1920-by-1080 Full HD resolution with a 2000-to-1 contrast ratio, six millisecond response time, and Ambix+ Technology, which supports both digital and analog inputs. The LCD6520 LCD display is the largest direct-view display offered by NEC, and is available in both portrait and landscape models.
