BELLEVUE, Wash. — NDR announced in a news release the launch of its first interactive concierge service at Crossroads Shopping Center in Bellevue, Wash. NDR i-Concierge is a personalized and fully interactive concierge service that helps consumers find exactly what they need at shopping centers. "Unlike the current static mall directories that exist today, NDR i-Concierge will radically change the shopping experience for consumers and help mall owners build customer loyalty while increasing sales, said Jeff Nellans, president and chief executive officer, NDR. "Consumers will be able to learn about sales and promotions at their favorite stores, view movie trailers and find out more about local events. Mall owners will have the ability to easily update tenants' information, mall events, promotions and coupons and advertisements." NDR has installed three NDR i-Concierge terminals at Crossroads Shopping Center and has plans to install additional terminals both locally and nationally early next year. Current features include facility wayfinding and navigation system, dynamically generated, animated routes to destinations, integrated promotions and printed coupons, movie times and trailers, music and local event printouts, restaurant menu display and news/weather/traffic feeds. Additional features, available early next year, include purchasing movie tickets and mall gift cards, customer loyalty registration, search engine functionality, advertising console and RFID technology.
