Navori to unveil system-on-a-chip solution

Navori plans to reveal its next system-on-a-chip at ISE 2018 in Amsterdam from Feb. 6-9. The solution is built to support Samsung Tizen smart displays, according to a press release.

Navori integrated the displays with its Navori QL Player, which enables web page authentication for password-protected access, high-quality content playback, template and ticker support, player monitoring, proof-of-playback monitored and automated software updates, according to the release.

"2018 is the year where SoC displays will begin to dominate the digital signage market," Jerome Moeri, CEO, Navori, said in the release. "While these displays have proven popular with A/V hardware-driven organizations from a cost and ease of deployment perspective, the lack of professional software and advanced features have proven less attractive to network operators. The momentum behind our SoC Tizen player innovation has encouraged further development between Navori engineers and display manufacturers that are now in process."
