MWareTV names Sree Sivanandan as VP India, SE Asia

MWareTV, a cloud-based multi-tenant TV platform, has named Sree Sivanandan as its VP for India and Southeast Asia, according to a press release.

Sivanandan will act as consultant for the company and his past experience includes work at a variety of media brands, including service as Head of Asia at AOL. Most recently, he has run his own venture growth consultancy, NetworkOnomy Ventures.

"The media industry in India, the sub-continent, and the wider south Asia region is very dynamic, very exciting," Sander Kerstens, CEO at MwareTV, said in the release. "We need someone on the ground, someone with strong local credentials to really tap into the full potential of this market. Sree is the perfect partner for us, and we look forward to working with him to bring the MwareTV success story to the fore in the region."
