MuxLab's new plate supports 4K video

MuxLab has released its new HDMI/USB over IP power-over-Ethernet Wall Plate Receiver. This 500777-RX-WH model supports 4K video and works with MuxLab's HDMI/VGA/USB over IP PoE Wall Plate Transmitter, according to a press release.

The receiver wall plate comes with:

•  One HDMi output.
•  Two USB 2.0 Type A connectors.
• Two UBS 1.1 Type A connectors.
• One RJ45S port for Ethernet connectivity.
• One RS232 port.
• One directional IR port.
• One 3.5-millimeter jack for audio out.

"The goal is to make the end user experience really simple yet with all the power available in more complex systems," Joe Teixeira, VP business development and product management, MuxLab, said in the release. "Our wall plate transmitters and receivers are interoperable and every device on the network can be easily controlled from within the room, or even half way around the world, making for very transparent systems that maximize end user access."

Customers can combine the system with MuxLab's ProDigital network controller to configure the system with automated device recognition and remote access and control with the MuxControl App.
