MuxLab has unveiled its HDMI over IP H.264/H.265 PoE Transmitter, which can stream A/V content with almost no latency. Customers can connect transmitter via an Ethernet switch to a MuxLab receiver to push content to connected displays, according to a press release.
With a standard CATE5e/6 cable, customers can connect sources from up to 100 meters away. The receiver supports 4K content at 6 Hertz, as well as MotionJPG video codec.
The device works with the MuxLab ProDigital Network Controller which detects equipment and simplifies IP-system configuration, access and control. Customers can use the MuxControl app to access and control the content remotely.
"Because of the exceedingly low bandwidth required to achieve a very high quality image, and with 200ms latency, we think this solution is ideal for most applications that stream content over a LAN, particularly in classrooms, digital signage applications, medical and corporate environments," said Joe Teixeira, vice president of business development and product management, MuxLab, said in the release.
