Multistate co-op selects NEC Display flat-panel monitors

CHICAGO — NEC Display Solutions of America has announced a partnership with the Western States Contracting Alliance to be a provider of flat-panel LCD and plasma monitors to the 15-state purchasing co-operative. The contract is projected to amount to tens of millions of dollars annually, according to a release.

"NEC is honored to be working with the WSCA as a monitor provider for its members," said Anne Tuisl, senior director of channel marketing for NEC Display Solutions. "Today, many organizations recognize the importance of having an environmental strategy to meet the challenges of product re-use/recycling and to comply with environmental legislation. WSCA is a leader in that respect."
