MultiDyne selects Wesco to distribute A/V products

MultiDyne Fiber Optic Solutions, a pro A/V solutions provider, has selected Wesco Broadcast and AV to distribute its products in North America, according to a press release.

Wesco will carry MultiDyne's full inventory of products for retail, teleconferencing, cinema and more. It will initially handle North America, and may possibly expand to other regions in the future.

"We see a tremendous amount of convergence taking shape across broadcast, AV and datacom, and MultiDyne is bringing new compression and fiber transport solutions to market that will help simplify customer transitions to IP," Michael Vivian, VP of sales and marketing, Wesco, said in the release. "We also see an opportunity to customize systems that bring MultiDyne products together with other brands we represent across cabling and connectivity. This will allow to bundle complete, integrated solutions for our customers."
